Frisbee!

Image result for Ultimate Frisbee Clip ArtWe have finished up the soccer unit! We had such a great time. Right now we are in the Frisbee unit.  I first taught the kids forehand throws and backhand throws, now we're putting those skills to use! We have been learning and playing a fairly new game called Kan-Jam.  It's a Frisbee game that you play with a partner and try to get to exactly eleven points by hitting a can with a Frisbee.  The game is a really fun way to teach team work and reinforce Frisbee skills. In 6th grade, we played ultimate Frisbee a couple times and the students loved it.  We also learned a game called Frisbee baseball, which is just like t-ball, but with a Frisbee.  We have had a blast learning all the new games that Frisbee has to offer.  Frisbee is a great activity to get out and play with family and friends.  Part of the reason it is so awesome is the fact that Frisbee can be played with anyone, even your dog, and just a regular old Frisbee! Thank you for your support in your student's Physical Education!
